Registration

1. Nature of the Event and Registration

SCATT JAZZ Bangkok is a music and educational event open to the public free of charge.

However, all participants are required to complete advance registration through our official registration system and receive confirmation prior to attending the Event.

The Organizer reserves the right to:

• Limit the number of participants based on venue capacity;
• Reject incomplete, inaccurate, or invalid registrations; and
• Revoke participation rights if false information is provided.

2. Confirmation and Admission

Registration does not automatically guarantee admission.

Participation is confirmed only upon receipt of an official confirmation email or message from the Organizer.

The Organizer may require participants to present:

• A QR Code;
• Confirmation email; and/or
• Valid identification

for verification purposes prior to entry.

3. Changes to Schedule and Artists

As SCATT JAZZ Bangkok may involve artists and speakers from multiple countries, the Organizer reserves the right to:

• Modify the event schedule;
• Substitute or change artists or speakers; and
• Adjust the format or structure of activities

without prior notice where necessary.

4. Force Majeure

The Organizer shall not be liable for any delay, modification, suspension, or cancellation of the Event arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters;
• Epidemics or pandemics;
• Government orders or restrictions;
• International travel disruptions affecting artists.

In such cases, the Organizer may:

• Postpone the Event;
• Convert the Event to an online format; or
• Adjust activities as deemed appropriate.

5. Photography, Audio, and Media Recording by the Organizer

By attending the Event, you grant the Organizer the irrevocable right to:

• Photograph, film, or record your image, voice, and likeness;
• Use such materials for promotional, marketing, reporting, or archival purposes;
• Distribute such materials in any media format, worldwide,

without compensation.

6. Recording by Participants

To protect the rights of artists and collaborators:

• Full-performance video recording is strictly prohibited;
• Live streaming of performances or workshops is prohibited without prior written consent;
• Short recordings for personal, non-commercial use are permitted, provided they do not disrupt the Event or other participants.

The Organizer reserves the right to request cessation of recording where deemed inappropriate.

7. Code of Conduct

SCATT JAZZ Bangkok is committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment.

Participants must:

• Treat artists, speakers, staff, and fellow attendees with respect;
• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or abusive conduct;
• Avoid disrupting performances, workshops, or event operations.

The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant engaging in inappropriate conduct.

8. Personal Data and Privacy

During registration, the Organizer may collect personal information including:

• Full name;
• Email address;
• Telephone number;
• Participation details.

Such information will be used for:

• Event administration;
• Communication regarding current or future activities;
• Improving participant experience.

We do not sell personal data to third parties and will retain such data only as long as necessary in accordance with applicable law.

9. Intellectual Property

The name "SCATT JAZZ Bangkok", its logos, educational materials, photographs, videos, and all related content are the intellectual property of the Organizer or its licensors.

No content may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer

The website and Event are provided on an "as is" basis.

The Organizer makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding uninterrupted access, accuracy, or technical error-free operation of the website or Event.

11. Limitation of Liability

As the Event is provided free of charge, the Organizer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Event, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence as required by applicable law.

12. Amendments to Terms

The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will be published on the website and shall become effective immediately upon publication.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.

Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
